Teen Talk
Teen Talk has been running for several years now. It currently has 15 members, most of which have been with the group from the start. The group is open to all young people between the ages of 12 – 18. The group meet on a monthly basis and the meetings are supported by the Patient and Public Involvement co-ordinator and the Trusts Play staff.
Over the years the group have been involved in many projects that have had an effect on the delivery of services for children and young people. For example:

The group has been very influential in deciding what projects Teen Talk will undertake over the coming year. The teens wanted to get involved in projects to improve the service for teens and based their ideas on what was lacking when they were an in patient.
