Where am I travelling to?
Most people with a congenital heart problem can fly anywhere in Europe (short haul) without any problems.
If you have a heart condition where your lips and nails are slightly blue - then you may need to discuss with your nurse particularly if you are considering:-
1. Going on a long haul flight
2. Travelling to a place where the climate is extremely hot or cold
3. Travelling to a country that is at high altitude
4. If you are considering back packing
5. If you are going on field trips with University or College
