Going On Holiday
If you are going on holiday with your parents they will probably do all the organising without you even thinking about it!
Once you are old enough to go on holiday with your mates you will have to remember a few things so that you can relax and have the time of your life!!!
Your parents will be quite spooked about you going on holiday for the first time without them - so prove them wrong and plan in advance!!
If your heart problem is quite complex - it might be worth trying to find out where the nearest hospital with a congenital heart disease unit is. You could also take a recent clinic letter with you that details what your heart problem is together with your health passport or hand held notes. You can always pop them in the bottom of your bag or suitcase just in case you need them.
