Contact Nurse Specialist
Linda Griffiths is the Nurse Specialist in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. She is currently working at Manchester Royal Infirmary. She started working as nurse back in 1982! And has been involved in looking after children who are born with a heart problem since 1988. She started this work in Myrtle Street in Liverpool and then at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital until 2004. She moved at this time to Manchester Children’s Hospital where she has been trying to improve the care that teenagers with congenital heart disease receive. She currently runs the Cardiac Youth Forum with Frances Binns (Consultant Play Specialist) and Jo Wright (Play Specialist).
